Job Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for all aspects of the fundraising and development process:
- Write grant proposals and activity reports;
- Draft budgets (general and project) and review with Finance Committee;
- Maintain all correspondence related to grants;
- Ensure that grant conditions are fulfilled;
- Meet with donors or arrange for other Coalition women to meet with them;
- Prospect for new funders;
- In addition to the above, which relates to the Coalition, the coordinator will provide consulting to member organizations of the Coalition to help in their fundraising.
Requirements:
- Commitment to the principles of the Coalition
- Proven experience in grant writing and other aspects of fundraising (e.g. drafting budgets)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Strong presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills
The person hired will work from home (we have no office), but will be expected to attend a monthly meeting (usually in Tel Aviv) and occassional other meetings and events.
