This new initiative brings together women who are Russian-speaking immigrants to Israel and committed to a progressive politics. Meeting twice a month, we address a broad progressive agenda – feminism, racism, human rights (occupation), social justice, gay rights – and seek a way to introduce this progressive perspective into our own Russian-speaking communities.
Together, we are planning to shape a strategy to raise awareness in our community, and – above all – to challenge the Russian-language media, now dominated by extremist views.
