Fundraiser/Development Coordinator – Half-time

Job Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for all aspects of the fundraising and development process:

  • Write grant proposals and activity reports;
  • Draft budgets (general and project) and review with Finance Committee;
  • Maintain all correspondence related to grants;
  • Ensure that grant conditions are fulfilled;
  • Meet with donors or arrange for other Coalition women to meet with them;
  • Prospect for new funders;
  • In addition to the above, which relates to the Coalition, the coordinator will provide consulting to member organizations of the Coalition to help in their fundraising.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to the principles of the Coalition
  • Proven experience in grant writing and other aspects of fundraising (e.g. drafting budgets)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

The person hired will work from home (we have no office), but will be expected to attend a monthly meeting (usually in Tel Aviv) and occassional other meetings and events.
